"Just for Kids"
The Child Watch CAC has specialized in working with child abuse victims since 1984; and we have made serving children our only priority. It is the goal of our CAC to reduce trauma to child abuse victims in our region by providing a warm, comfortable, child friendly, home-like environment that is a physically and psychologically safe place for child abuse victims. All services are provided FREE of charge to clients.
The Child Watch Children’s Advocacy Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) grassroots organization that was established in 1984. The Children’s Advocacy Center is a member of the National Children’s Alliance, Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, National CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Association, and Kentucky CASA, Inc. The Child Watch Children’s Advocacy Center is the oldest CAC in the state; and one of five, out of the 15 regions in Kentucky accredited by the National Children’s Alliance. During the past 24 years the Child Watch CAC has been the recipient of over 15 honors and awards recognizing the Center for outstanding advocacy and services to the children in our region, the latest honor is Kentucky’s first annual “Champions for Children” Award.

The Child Watch CAC's mission is to provide a child-friendly environment for the prevention, evaluation and treatment of child abuse victims.
For children to be loved, nurtured and safe from abuse and neglect.
To assess and address the needs of abused children and provide child-focused services.
For our community to recognize the special needs of abused children and commit to responding effectively to those needs.
